Hi everyone!
Welcome to PJ Gillen School…the world of Pandas! I am proud to be a member of the PJ Gillen team, walking alongside a devoted and dedicated group of staff members. Our school values the strong positive community connection we have with our parents, community members, and businesses in Esterhazy. It takes a village to raise a child and we value the partnerships that run strong throughout our community.
Our motto at PJ Gillen is Excellence! Every child…Every day! and we hold ourselves to this. We strive to provide our students with the best educational experience making our school a PAWSitive place for our students, our families, and our staff. We work to instill the values of our school of being positive, responsible, respectful, and safe.
I am grateful to be able to call myself a Panda. As I reach the 20th year of my career I look back at and appreciate the learning experiences I have had as a teacher and as an administrator. I have worked 19 of my years with the Good Spirit School Division, while I worked my first year of teaching in Oklahoma City Public Schools. My family (my husband Dave, my son Ashtyn, and my daughter Kiah) call Esterhazy home and enjoy keeping busy with sports, spending time as a family, and traveling. I am a lifelong learner and just recently completed my doctoral studies at Athabasca University. I love to learn alongside my students and staff and look forward to the new, daily challenges that Administration brings.
